What does an Operations Associate do at Hogarth? 
 

Role Summary:

We are growing and seeking an Operations Associate to support our California-based operations team. This role reports to the Operations Manager/Director and plays a critical part in enabling smooth day-to-day operations across local and international teams.

The Operations Associate will own and support onboarding and off-boarding workflows, assist with quarterly planning and reporting, and help build and maintain the Operations Playbook (events, communications, meeting cadence, and standard workflows). This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, HR, and cross-functional leaders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and operational excellence at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring accurate account setup and system access
  • Maintain accurate employee and resource data across company tools and trackers
  • Support quarterly planning and reporting activities, including headcount tracking, resourcing updates, and timeline coordination
  • Build, maintain, and update the Operations Playbook, including:
  • Events and engagement workflows
  • Communication standards
  • Meeting cadences and operating rhythms
  • Document operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and Operations leaders to support forecasting, reporting, and operational workflows
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and operational updates for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or points of friction and recommend improvements
  • Support implementation of tools and workflows to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Track progress against plans and escalate risks or delays as needed

Requirements: 

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, program coordination, or project support roles
  • Experience supporting onboarding/off-boarding or people operations workflows
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data, trackers, and operational tools
  • Proficiency with Apple applications (Pages, Numbers, Keynote)
  • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and propose practical solutions
  • Experience supporting quarterly planning or forecasting cycles
  • Experience working with global or distributed teams

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range: $70,000 - $100,000 Annually
