Responsibilities:

  • Designing and art directing product toolkits, creative concepting, and other art direction and design solutions.
  • Developing initial concepts and ideas, collaborating with creative and operational specialists, and overseeing final implementation across all media channels.
  • Pushing the boundaries of media channels, embracing new platforms, and reinventing existing ones to create newsworthy and shareable content.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Creatives, Producers, and Project Managers, to bring ideas to life.
  • Crafting engaging stories through design and art direction to ensure clarity of message and brand consistency across all media channels.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for creative excellence and contributing to the continuous improvement of creative processes within the Makerhouse team.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrating strength in conceptual and creative ideation for both traditional and non-traditional channels.
  • Exercising imagination, craft skills, and creativity beyond conventional 30” TV ads.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities for creative excellence and pushing the boundaries of art direction and design.
  • Working independently or collaboratively within a team, locally or remotely, throughout the development and production phases.
  • Collaborating closely with Creative Directors, Executive Creative Directors, and/or Clients to implement exceptional creative solutions in all media.
  • Passionately engaging and inspiring through the presentation of creative work.
  • Demonstrating a positive and optimistic attitude, along with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Displaying a passion for innovation and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with motion and 3D skills considered a bonus.
  • Applying industry standards relevant to each project.
  • Accurately estimating and recording time spent on projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Broad and impeccable conceptual skills.
  • Passionate presenter of creative work with the ability to engage and inspire.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (motion and 3D skills considered a bonus).
  • Effective collaboration with others in the creative, design, and production process.
  • Knowledge of the production process in digital, experiential, and motion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential with the right experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Multi-disciplinary Creative Agency.
  • Possess physical and mental requirements to meet the listed job responsibilities.
