RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Copy Editor's tasks include proofreading heavy content, amending grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors, as well as making sure the copy follows the proper brand style guidelines.
In addition, the role of the Copy Editor is to create, review and approve client assets for various channels and marketing platforms using predefined pharma industry and brand guidelines and guardrails. The incumbent is responsible for proofreading and content quality. The role includes editing and reviewing content for correctness, creating creative briefs, and approving assets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Have an understanding of advertising, communication, and business processes
• Conduct research and read medical content
• Be confident working with a multi-disciplinary team in a production environment
• Have an excellent command of the English language both verbal and written
• Be comfortable working with international clients
• Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Full-time onsite availability during the first three months (from 09:30 to 19:00hr)
• Verifiable experience working on the role
• Experience with pharma, medical, or scientific content, translation, proofreading, creating content or copy editing
